Rebirth Software-Synthesizer für lau

… und zwar seit gestern gibt es von Propellerhead Software den altbekannten Software-Synthie ReBirth als Diskimage für Windows und Mac OS X als Diskimage zum Download – allerdings erst nach einer Registrierung. Die Software wird nicht mehr weiterentwickelt und deshalb haben die Entwickler sich entschlossen, das Ding gratis unters Volk zu schmeißen. Momentan allerdings scheinen die Server dem Andrang nicht standzuhalten, so dass es zu längeren Wartezeiten und Download-Abbrüchen kommen kann. Nur Geduld 🙂

On September 1, 2005, Propellerhead Software announced that the era of ReBirth had come to an end and created the ReBirth Museum to commemorate its history. Visitors are welcome to tour the website, learn about its developers and community, and take home a special memento: ReBirth RB-338 itself!
